The Portuguese coach, Jose Mourinho, called Real Madrid and Inter Milan are the two teams that will be in his priority list, if he returns to the training job in near future.
Until now, Mourinho is still unemployed after being sacked by Manchester United in early December 2018.
According to Mourinho, Real Madrid and Inter Milan have his place in their mind and heart because of the past successes.
“Returning to Real Madrid or Inter Milan will be an honour for me,” Mourinho told Correio da Manha TV.
“If a coach returns to the old club, that means he has done something positive for that club. This is what I felt when I returned to Chelsea,” Mourinho said again.
Rather than Real Madrid, Mourinho achieved greater success when managing Inter Milan. Only two seasons, since mid-2008, Mourinho gave Inter Milan five prestigious titles.
Mourinho had a great success in his second season when he guided Inter Milan to the treble, or Italian League, Coppa Italia and the Champions League champions.
At Real Madrid, Mourinho was only able to win three domestic titles in three seasons. Besides Real Madrid and Inter Milan, Benfica is reportedly also interested in the prospect Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho’s opportunity to return to one of the teams is currently quite open. Because, Real Madrid and Inter Milan are performing inconsistently with their current coach.
While waiting for a coaching offer, Mourinho will fill his time to become one of the pundits at the beIN Sports station. Mourinho is acting in the role of a commentator in the 2019 Premier League and Asian Cup matches.
